Sustainable Finance - Shaping the Future

Under the motto "Shaping the Future", our 2nd Sustainable Finance Conference took place once again together with the CFA Society Austria at the PwC headquarters in Vienna's DC Tower. ESG experts from various sectors discussed approaches, perspectives and ideas in the field of sustainability high above the rooftops of Vienna. We would like to thank the great speakers, partners and participants who joined us in making this event a success!

The "imh Sustainable Finance Conference" was recently held in Vienna, and I was the technical chair. The topics covered ranged from politics - the Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Energy and the Environment Agency Austria - to presentations by the Financial Market Authority, the Austrian Control Bank and the Austrian Development Bank, and culminated with the Austrian Ministry of Finance reporting on green innovations in public finance.

The Vienna Stock Exchange recently reached a significant milestone. The Vienna ESG Segment, launched in May 2022 to consolidate sustainable bonds under the highest transparency standards, has now recorded its 100th green bond. As a result, the number of ESG bonds on the Vienna Stock Exchange has nearly doubled, with an impressive total of EUR 20 billion already raised by bond issuers for sustainable transformation projects.

Under the motto "Shaping the Future" we, together with the CFA Society Austria, invited to the Sustainable Finance Conference in the PwC headquarters in Vienna's DC Tower on January 25th. High above the rooftops of Vienna, ESG experts from various industries and market segments shared and exchanged approaches, perspectives and ideas on the subject of sustainability.

Being a pioneer in impact investing on listed markets, La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) is publishing today the report on its Climate & Biodiversity corporate strategy, as well as the annual impact reports[1] for two of its impact funds. These three reports reflect commitment to transparency towards investors.
